In a bid to showcase India’s technological advancements and its commitment to digital transformation, the Digital India Center has been established at the summit venue. The center offers a highly interactive experience, featuring various devices for hands-on exploration. NewsX correspondent Akshit Gupta sent a special report from Bharat Mandapam showcasing India’s digital capabilities. One of the center’s highlights is the AI-powered language translation platform, explained by Bhashini, a guest at the center. This platform currently supports 22 Indian languages, enabling seamless text-to-text translation, speech recognition in all 22 languages, and text synthesis in these languages. Visitors were treated to live demonstrations of the platform’s capabilities. These demonstrations showcased the platform’s usefulness in translating languages and highlighted its flexibility to handle various languages, including those related to the G20 summit and government schemes.
