The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), an initiative of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, signed on Saturday, September 9, 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Transport Department, Government of Kerala, to expand the open mobility network in the State. The agreement expands the Kochi Open Mobility Network to cover the entire state, now called the Kerala Open Mobility Network (KOMN). This project aims to integrate all transportation modes in Kerala into the ONDC network, offering affordable and convenient access through user-friendly apps for both buyers and sellers.
